I worked with designer Yoshi Torralva to bring the Chiba Tech's identity to life. My favourite part of this project was rigging the 'chibuggy' in a way that allowed it to move dynamically across different contexts—as the underlying structure of complex layouts, the precise movement of a pen plotter, or the animated liveliness of a mascot. Our main visual and interaction of this website for exploring climate technologies is the 'wheel,' inspired by sun rays and star charts. Since the beginning of the project, I treated motion behaviors as a key parallel track of development—one that ultimately informed the main visual direction. From the early kinetic tests of the circular atlas to the rippling movement of the color wheel, motion shaped the overall interactivity of the web-based experience. +++ Bonus I animated a custom video for the coalition at Times Square during New York Climate Week 2025.
